Intake + Kickoff
Timing: 30 minutes
Schedule Time
Once the site is sold Sheridan Bergo from NBC Sports Next will connect with you to discuss your site in a kickoff call.
The team will overview:
- Shared content
- Diamond Allegiance logo needs to stay in header and footer
- What pages you would like to move over, if not 1-for-1 from your old site
- In case specific items won’t be coming over, we will look to identify those areas
Timing: 30 minutes – 2 hours
Collecting Assets to Utilize
Your organization can pass along further assets like photos and videos to our team to add to your site. Diamond Allegiance can also assist as they may have content for your organization.
Identify super club admin
Kickoff call with Seth and Ryan
Identify locations
Review microsite template
First order of business is to identify the user from your club who will be designated as the super admin. The super admin will be the point of contact for the club, and will be responsible for starting the onboard process for a new location.
The super admin will schedule a call with Seth Steivang (NBCSN Project Manager) and Ryan Rodebaugh (NBCSN Enterprise Account Manager) to discuss the process and timeline with onboarding your super club.
Each of your clubs will have their own microsite on your website. Identifying your club’s locations will help NBC Sports Next build out each microsite per location.
Review the microsite template. This allows you to showcase the microsite template to your locations, giving them a glance into what they will be receiving.
Timing: 15-30 minutes
Meet the Super Club Admin
Your club will be a part of a broader super club website. One of the most important relationships to establish is the one with your super club’s admin. The super admin will be the point of contact for the club and will be responsible for starting the onboard process for your new location microsite.
The super club admin owns the following:
- Makes strategic decisions within the Diamond Allegiance approved template.
- Distributes communications to affiliates (communications will be prepared by NBCSN and sent to the super admin for distribution).
- Engages with you, the affiliate admin, to ensure you have what you need to complete the website form by the deadline.
- Acts as a liaison between affiliates and NBCSN for any additional content requests.
- Manages affiliate admin permissions for the overall website.
Timing: 5-10 minutes
Review Microsite Template
Review the microsite template. This allows you to see what you will be receiving and what content you’ll need to collect.
Timing: 30-45 minutes
Complete Affiliate Intake Form
The form is designed in tandem with the template we will be using on your microsite. This allows us to ensure we collect content that fits within each of the prescribed tabs. Your super club admin will support you through filling this out, should you have any questions.
Timing: 15-30 minutes
Identify the Super Club Admin
First order of business is to identify the user from your club who will be designated as the super admin. The super admin will be the point of contact for the club and will be responsible for the national content of the website.
The affiliate content may impact the overall site, if your site has been launched previously and has been through the process with Diamond Allegiance and NBC Sports Next.
For example, if a microsite is requested for the main club, decisions will need to be made to adjust the national site to fit some of the content into the microsite.
Timing: 5-10 minutes
Review Microsite Template
Review the microsite template. This helps the super club admin understand where the adjustments may fall.
For example, if the national teams are in the main navigation, they may be pushed to the national microsite, which adjusts the main navigation.
Timing: 30-45 minutes
Kickoff Call
The super admin will schedule a call with Seth Steivang (NBCSN Project Manager) and Ryan Rodebaugh (NBCSN Enterprise Account Manager) to discuss the process and timeline with onboarding your super club.
The team will overview:
- Shared content and microsite structure
- Diamond Allegiance logo needs to stay in header and footer
- Expectations of managing affiliates
Timing: 15-30 minutes
Identify Locations
Identifying if your super club needs adjustments to the overall navigation (ex. needing a national microsite) will help NBC Sports Next build out both the national navigation and the microsite for its future state.
Also, it is important to confirm all of your affiliates/locations so our team can begin the microsite builds. These will be included in the locations landing page that will be the main hub for your users to navigate to as well.
